How the Reading Plan Works

There are SO many great ways to read the whole Bible.

You can take two years to mosey through it.

You can do it in a month (yes, a month!).

But in this community, we're going to do it in a year.

After reading through the Bible five times (and quitting once or twice to do something else) I like the year timeframe for a few reasons:

  • It is a tangible yet realistic time frame. While there have been seasons a 2 year plan worked for me, the two year timeframe was sometimes too long, which made it easier for me to get lax about my reading. A year is a tighter deadline.
  • A year is both "just enough" and not "too much", IF you give yourself grace on the reading. Let go of perfectionism, be willing to roll past days you miss, and you'll stay on track!
  • The ability to break a year into 30-day and 90-day chunks is helpful for goal setting. Don't look at this plan as a "year" but as the next thirty days, or next seven days - one reason our lectures are broken into "weeks".

If you renew your membership each month, you'll spend 12 months with a group of women in the EWAT community who ALL want to go deeper in the Word together. And that's pretty cool!
